Animal Shelter Manager is a feature-packed, open source computer package. It is designed to manage all aspects of an animal shelter, including intake, adoptions, internet publishing, medical treatments, diary, reporting, accounts, etc.

The system is very flexible and can be configured to match the workflow of any shelter. It can be installed locally on your computer, or on a webserver for shared use by many people. You can also buy a ready-installed hosted account for a small fee.

ASM can generate adoptable animal galleries and automatically publish your animals to PetFinder.com, Pets911.com, AdoptAPet.com and many more (including Facebook) through PetAdoptionPortal.org

Animal Shelter Manager runs on all major computer platforms (Windows, MacOSX, Linux, Unix), utilises other open source components and does not require a modern computer to run.

ASM will prompt you for your locale the first time you run the program. The following locales and languages are fully supported:

Dutch (nl_NL)
English (en_GB, en_US, en_AU, en_CA, en_IE, en_IN, en_NZ, en_ZA)
Estonian (et_EE)
French (fr_FR)
German (de_DE)
Hebrew (he_IL)
Lithuanian (lt_LT)
Portugese (pt_PT)
Slovak (sk_SK)
Spanish (es_ES)

The following locales and languages are either mostly or partially supported:
